3D numerical investigation of functionally graded concrete

In the design of engineering structures, concrete is assumed to have homogeneously mechanical properties. However, in reality, material usually not uniform with respect height structures because segregation mostly occurs during construction. The higher density presented at, lower part structure due a proportion aggregate and vice versa. Moreover, disparity creep, shrinkage, hydration heat, curing method also leads difference quality concrete. Therefore, it necessary study responses element various this study, functional elastic modulus (FGC) investigated numerically for its effects on static under axial compression. Conventional Finite Element Method (FEM) Meshless are used model structure. reliability numerical validated by comparing obtained results experimental data.
